Although country singer Kenny Chesney was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, he definitely found his musical inspiration and home in the Virgin Islands. As one of the most famous Virgin Islands celebrities, he has homes on St. John and sings about the islands and their amazing beauty in many of his songs. His wedding to actress Renee Zellweger occurred on Peter Bay (near Trunk Bay) on St. John. Virgin’s Sir Richard Branson and Morgan Freeman are two examples of prominent personalities taking residence in the British Virgin Islands.
