Pirate’s Paradise Adventures-Best St. Thomas Boat Rental

Pirate’s Paradise Adventures is based in Red Hook, at American Yacht Harbor on the east end of St. Thomas. Getting here by cab from the Havensight (WICO) cruise ship terminal takes about 15-20 minutes. From Crown Point Marina, about 20-30, and from the airport, approximately 30-40 minutes.

What kind of Boat Do You Get With a St. Thomas Boat Rental?

When looking for a St. Thomas Boat Rental company to charter a boat from, you’ll find there are many different options to choose from. While most St. Thomas boat rental companies use a center console “fishing boat,” we have two fun, sleek runabouts with forward facing, fully upholstered lounge seats up front, and large swim steps on the back. The swim step makes it much easier to get in and out of the water as well as into and out of the boat on a dock. There are also large sun pads on both boats–in the front on Black Beard, and on the back on Red Beard. They’re perfect for the sun worshipers! What this means is a more relaxed, fun and exciting time on the Caribbean water!

Where Can You Go With a St Thomas Boat Rental?

Well, if you are American but do not have a passport with you, you can explore all the U.S. Virgin Islands, including St. Thomas, St. John, Water Island, Buck Island, Hans Lolik, and other smaller islands.

If you have your passport, even more islands are available to you – the British Virgin Islands. These include Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Sandy Spit, Norman Island, Beef Island and Virgin Gorda. Some of the best beach bars in the world are located in The British Virgin Islands. For example – The Soggy Dollar, Foxy’s and Taboo are all on Jost Van Dyke, while Pirates Bight and the famous (infamous?) Willy T are on Norman Island. Tortola has a great spot at Smuggler’s Cove.

Pricing of a St Thomas Boat Rental

Pricing for a private St Thomas boat rental varies from around $600 – $2,500 per day, with a lot of variables. In addition to your rental fee, there is a captain’s fee that is paid directly to the captain on the day of the trip. Some charge for “extras” like snorkeling equipment, ice, water, soda and motor oil. Pirates Paradise Adventures doesn’t nickel and dime you or try to mislead you. While on our boats, you have full (and free!) access to top quality snorkeling gear, snorkeling vests and floating noodles, ice, water and soft drinks. No surprises. The only additional cost is the gas you use on your trip, applicable customs fees, and captain’s fee. See our value pricing.
