About Panacea:

Panacea Sail Boat St Thomas Virgin IslandsPanacea is a Swan 371, designed by Ron Holland and built by the world’s premier sailboat company Nautor Swan in Finland. Launched in 1985 as a racer cruiser, Panacea is a very fast and comfortable sailing yacht ready to take you and your party on a private sailing adventure. If you’ve never sailed on a Swan, you’re in for a treat!

Panacea is 37 in length with an 11′ 4″ beam, which means a very stable ride. She has all US Coast Guard required safety gear and her captain, Roy, is one of the best in the islands. Enjoy all Panacea has to offer, with on-board snorkeling equipment, comfortable cabins and galley, and the sound of the wind in her sails.

There’s two ways to enjoy Panacea…on a fantastic day sail, or overnight. Here’s a few of the packages available aboard Panacea:

Private Day Charter USVI Snorkel and Sail:

Panacea Sail Boat St. Thomas Virgin IslandsDepart Sapphire Beach, Red Hook St. Thomas or Cruz Bay (St. John) at 9:00 AM for a memorable morning sail to a stunning snorkeling location, chosen by your captain based on the daily wind and weather conditions. After a delicious lunch, sightseeing and snorkeling, enjoy an evening sail back to St. Thomas arriving around 4 PM. This is a relaxing day of swimming, superb sailing and snorkeling in the US Virgin Islands.

WHAT’S INCLUDED: Morning coffee and tea, snorkel gear, soft drinks, drinking water, lunch from a variety of cold cuts, fresh bread and green salad.

WHAT TO BRING: Towels, beverages of your choice, sunscreen, hats, your favorite music on an Ipod or equivalent music player, and a thirst for sailing some of the finest waters in the world.

Private Day Sail to the British Virgin Islands, Snorkel and Sail:

Panacea Sail Boat St Thomas Virgin IslandsDepart Sapphire Beach, Red Hook St. Thomas or Cruz Bay (St. John) at 8:00 AM and set sail for a unique snorkeling location, chosen by your captain based on the daily wind and weather conditions that will position us to easily reach our next port of call, Jost Van Dyke, in the British Virgin Islands. Upon entry to the BVI, we’ll clear customs and head for one of several excellent Caribbean lunch and watering holes that bring world sailors back year after year, like the world famous and unforgettable Foxy’s, Sidneys, Taboo, The Soggy Dollar or Corsairs. After lunch, there’s plenty of time for a relaxing sail back to Cruz Bay on St. John, USVI to clear customs and then the short sail back to St. Thomas arriving usually by 5PM.

Overnight sailing Excursions to Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands:

Panacea Interior shot St Thomas Virgin IslandsDepart Sapphire Beach, Red Hook St. Thomas or Cruz Bay St. John at 9:00 AM for a memorable morning sail to a stunning snorkeling location chosen by your captain based on daily wind and weather conditions. Lunch is served on board Panacea.

After lunch, we’ll sail to White Bay on Jost Van Dyke for the afternoon beach party at the local beach bars…Soggy Dollar, One Love, Foxy’s Ivan’s and more. When you’re ready, we’ll set sail for the short trip to Great Harbor where we’ll anchor for the night. It’s time to relax and enjoy a stunning sunset over the Caribbean waters with your favorite beverage on Panacea’s deck. If you feel like a swim, don’t hesitate to dive right in, then rinse off on deck before changing for dinner on your own at either Foxy’s or Corsairs. We’ll shuttle you to the nearby dock on our motorized dinghy. When you’re ready to call it a evening, the captain will return you to Panacea for the night, where you’ll be gently lulled to sleep at anchor in this magnificent place, aboard our stunning Panacea.

In the morning, enjoy coffee or tea on deck, watching the sun rise over the islands. When everyone is up, the captain will shuttle you to shore for a delicious breakfast at Corsairs. After breakfast, we’ll set sail in search of fantastic snorkeling and sightseeing–you won’t believe the stunning view of those Caribbean beaches from the water, with the wind rippling through Panacea’s sails. We’ll then turn you loose for lunch on your own at Taboo, and after lunch, set sail for Cruz Bay on St. John, where we’ll clear US customs and depart for St. Thomas, getting you back by 3 PM.

Overnight sailing Excursions to Norman Island in the British Virgin Islands:

Depart Sapphire Beach, Red Hook St. Thomas or Cruz Bay (St. John) at 9:00 AM for a memorable morning sail to West End, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. Lunch is served on board Panacea after clearing customs. After lunch, we’ll sail to Norman Island for some world class snorkeling at famous places like Indians, Caves, and Water Point…..who knows–maybe you’ll find some buried treasure hidden in the caves! Based on wind and weather conditions that day, the captain will choose the exact location to ensure you have the best experience possible.

Panacea sailboat deck st thomas virgin islandsWhen you’ve had your fill of snorkeling, we’ll sail to the Bight and anchor our beautiful Panacea for the night. You’ll be on your own for dinner at either Pirate’s Bight or the Willy-T, where you can partake in the world renown “party at the Willy-T” if you dare! The beauty of this location is that we can snorkel and swim right here at the Bight, and your captain can shuttle you from the Willy T back to Panacea aboard our motorized dinghy.

In the morning, take a refreshing dip in the warm Caribbean waters to start your day. On board, relax with a cup of coffee or tea while the captain prepares a delicous breakfast. Relax and enjoy more snorkeling after breakfast or head to the beach. Lunch is on your own at Pirates Bight or Willy T. After lunch, we set sail for a great afternoon on the water, racing toward Cruz Bay on St. John, where we’ll clear customs before heading back to St. Thomas by 3PM.
